Colby Wells was born and raised in the Southwest, primarily calling Arizona home. As the oldest of three brothers, Colby learned early on the value of resilience and leadership. Throughout his life, he has consistently “leaned into the hard road,” a philosophy he honed as a high school wrestler and later as a men’s league rugby player. He brings that same grit, respect for fairness, and dedication to hard work to his legal practice, where he represents injured individuals in their fight against billion-dollar insurance corporations.

Colby’s path to the law was paved by significant real-world experience in the industries he now litigates against. After earning his degree in Business and Marketing from Northern Arizona University, he served as an operations manager for one of the largest commercial trucking fleets in the United States. Following law school at the Phoenix School of Law, he further deepened his expertise by working at the national commercial claims headquarters of one of the country’s largest insurance carriers.

Today, Colby leverages this unique “inside” perspective to help his clients navigate the complexities of commercial insurance and trucking regulations. He knows how these companies operate, and he uses that knowledge to hold drivers and corporations accountable for the harm they cause.

With over a decade of experience in personal injury law, Colby is a proven advocate for his clients. His professional excellence has been consistently recognized by his peers; from 2019 through 2024, he has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction reserved for no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state.

Outside of the courtroom, Colby is a dedicated husband and father. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and young daughters, whether they are traveling, exploring, or simply relaxing at home.
